WHAT IS NORLANA
NEOM has unveiled Norlana, a new active lifestyle community in Saudi Arabia. This luxury destination will feature 711 properties, including mansions, apartments and beach villas, with the capacity to accommodate 3,000 residents.
In addition, a 120-berth marina is planned. Chris Jones, Managing Partner for Europe and the Middle East at 10 DESIGN and architect of Norlana, describes the site as an “exquisite confection” and highlights its focus on prioritizing people.
Norlana is divided into four communities, the heart of which is an exclusive residential complex of apartments and hotels located in the marina, according to Rochana C Verma, senior associate at 10 Design .
Norlana has been conceived to transform contemporary, active living. With a core focus on sport, health and wellness, this innovative community offers residents and visitors the opportunity to live their passions in an environmentally sustainable setting, according to the press release.
Chris Jones highlighted the importance of creating trails that connect these communities, allowing everyone to enjoy walking. Rochana C Verma added: “Unlike most cities designed around cars, where people feel increasingly disconnected, Norlana is something different.
