What is Axie Infinity?

Axie Infinity is a Player-vs-Player (PvP), Pay-to-Win and Pay-to-Earn online game using Ethereum blockchain technology that was created in 2018 by Vietnamese company Sky Mavis. In the game, the user is able to create characters that are represented by means of an NFT token (non-fungible token) turning them into cryptographic collectibles, which you can upgrade to put in battles for which you can get virtual money. This money can be used to upgrade the same character, get another one or trade with them to get more dividends.

Yes, but not entirely. It is true that you need to pay nowadays to have access to your first "decent" team of axies and we can say that this is even necessary for the health of the video game. Little by little you climb the ladder and it becomes less necessary to keep investing money but it is quite pyramidal in our opinion. The longer you take to enter A.I. the worse. With its "Play to earn" model, 'Axie Infinity' rewards financially those who play the most, but requires a high barrier to entry: an initial payment of, currently, about $ 200-600 per creature.

Is Axie Infinity a P2W?

Are there alternatives to purchasing?

Yes, the scholarship program. A scholarship is a way to play completely free, since someone else gives you their Axies so you can win SLPs without having to make an initial investment. Currently, the price of the Axies is around $600 and since you need 3 to be able to play, the investment would be around $1,800. There are players, like us, who are raising Axies so that we can give out scholarships and get people to start playing. This will increase the number of players and the game will become more and more popular. To be able to participate in a scholarship you have to fulfill a number of conditions. The most important of all is that you cannot have two accounts on the same device. This will result in an immediate ban from the game, i.e. your Axies and the Axies of the scholarship will be blocked. If this happens, of course you will be removed from the scholarship program and if you have SLPs pending collection, they will become the page and you will not receive anything.

Definitely yes, without a doubt Axie Infinity is the monster of blockchain video games that unite the world of cryptocurrencies causing a positive economic impact on many human beings who wish to make a change in their lives. Some earn just a few dollars but others earn real fortunes on a monthly basis.
